19 Secluded Acres

HOME & KENNEL FOR SALE BY OWNER

With much sorrow we have decided to put our home and kennel up for sale. My husband is 69 years old and not able to keep up with cutting the grass and keeping the woods at bay anymore. We are going to be looking for a smaller place with less acres. The dogs are NOT included. 

There are 19 acres about half in woods, with one large out building and a 1847 sq ft ranch style house with a half basement.  The house is a three bedroom, two bath, dining room, large living room,  large kichen, laudry room, and puppy room on the main floor. One kennel with 6 runs is connected to the living room. It used to be a carport but we insulated and closed it in and made a small kennel there.

We put up a separated building for another kennel with 7 runs and room for 7 more on the other side. Everything is double fenced for the safety of the dogs. As you can tell the house needs painting. Though we say we are going to do it every year we just never have time to do it. It is one of the reasons we need to move somewhere with less land.

The outside runs are 32 inches wide by 10 feet long. There are dog doors for the dogs to go in and out at will. The picture to the left is the of the kennel runs attached to the house.

This picture shows the back of the house plus  part of the new kennel building. The house really needs to be painted.

These four pictures show the inside and out side of the new kennel building. We put a roof over the runs. The inside of this kennel has a drain in the floor for hosing it out and a sink with cold water. We put a septic system on the outside put inside the fence for waste from the dogs. All runs have cement so the dogs can't dig out. There is room to put 7 more runs on the other side. The tarp we used to shade for a Chinese Crest in the summer.
